Privacy notice
Draft This is our working privacy text. It still needs our company details and a legal review before it's final. Questions: contact@brand.store.
Who we are
Brand Store builds the pages shoppers land on after tapping a brand's ad, at brand.store. We're responsible for the personal data described here (the data controller). Company name, registration number and registered address: to be added. You can reach us at contact@brand.store.
What we collect, and why
When you ask for a demo, we collect the product link and the work email you type. On the agencies page, we also collect your agency name and up to five client product links.
We use them to build your demo, to email you its link, and to talk to you about it. Our lawful basis is that you asked us to (steps at your request before any contract) and our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
With each request we also record the browser it came from and the country Cloudflare reports for your connection, to spot spam. We don't sell any of it, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
Cloudflare hosts this site and the database the requests are stored in. New requests may also be posted to our team's private Discord channel so we can reply quickly.
Both are based in the United States, so your data may be processed there, under their data protection terms and the UK's international transfer safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep a demo request while we're building your demo and talking to you about it, and delete it when it's no longer needed or when you ask us to.
What stays in your browser
While you fill in a form, this site keeps what you typed in your browser's session storage, so a refresh doesn't lose it. It's cleared when you close the tab. See the cookies page for the rest.
The example demos
The examples on this site are built from each brand's public site and run on this site. They stop before anything leaves for a real checkout or another site, and nothing you do in them is sent to the brands.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it, by emailing contact@brand.store. We'll reply within a month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
